It is a great blessing that I was born in a family where my parents and grand parents observed spiritual practices. My maternal grandmother was a teacher, (the first woman ever to be conferred the title Kannada Pandit) was very particular about discipline and guided us in following human values. She believed in" the family that prays together stays together". So daily evening prayers along with singing of bhajans was observed. My maternal grandfather was a famous musician who also had a workshop where he got musical instruments manufactured. So my mother grew up in a holy atmosphere and brought us up also in an atmosphere of discipline and devotion. My father was deeply religious too, with every festival celebrated at home. There are certain things which have universal attributes and music is one of them. Something of great magnitude is conveyed by it. It connects us to the universal store house of life and knowledge. It expands the heart and enlarges the mind with Divine inspiration and consists in finding a clear access of the highest. It entails dedication of the faculties of attention and intellect to God while performing ones duties. It becomes a source of joy and peace. Music was inherent in me and it was awakened after my coming under Bhagwans loving umbrella and listening to His bhajans being sung by devotees, among whom was my mother. My heart got tuned to the supreme and a desire to serve Baba was born in me which led to involving myself into recording bhajan albums of the highest quality. When I started off, the bhajan albums available was of the normal stereo type and with His divine grace I thought of offering something different, praising our Lord to the devotees. Thus our first solo album Sai Darshan was born and we followed it up by categorizing the Mandir bhajans and that is how the Living God Series happened. Then we ventured into a different type of Darshan music which were well accepted. With my mothers help we recorded the Balvikas Series Albums. We are and always will be in the process of evolving and .............

With our beloved Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Babas immense divine grace, love and blessings we were able to give high quality audio bhajan albums to our millions of Sai devotees around the world. We launched our company UNICORN MUSIC AND MARKETING, mumbai, India. In the year 1995 with our first album Sai Darshan most beautifully rendered by our immensely popular artist Kavita Krishnamurthy. The title song of this album Eeshwarama was sung live by Kavita Krishnamurthy in Prashanti Nilayam, Puttaparthi in Bhagwans august divine presence on his 70th birthday. The General Stores in Prashanti Nilayam took up the sales of this album and it was such a huge success that we were prompted to continue recording more albums and as of today we have recorded and released 55 albums mainly of authentic recordings of mandir bhajans under Living God Series, where our main artist is Ajnish who with Bhagwans blessings has sung His praise and touched the hearts of those millions of Sai devotees who have had the good fortune of visiting Prashanti Nilayam while he was a student at the Sai Institute. We have Instrumental Darshan Music recordings which are regularly played in the Mandir while Swami is giving his divine darshan, Balvikas shlokas as per the primer, an album titled Chantings which contains all the major shlokas, Sri Sathya Sai Astothara, Sai Suprabhatam and Sai Aarti..................................... |
